--Artemis walked to her office, and opened the door, letting Wu go first. Once he was in, she shut the door behind her, activating a self-lock seal. She was becoming more and more like him everyday...--

A thoughtful expression rested on his face. It was hard to tell whether it was happy or sad, mostly because the wearer of the face was himself undecided.
--She is learning what she needs to learn to survive, that much is true. And that she survives beyond my time is integral. Yet, the world should not be this way, where we need to coerce, manipulate and subvert our youth just to provide a hope for a better future. Now, a young girl must bear the burdens of a nation, and already she is developing the habits required, habits that should only be needed by those who walk the shadows, not the bright stars of tomorrow.--
He sighed.
--Too late now. What is done is done. Somebody will pay the price one day. At the very least, I must make this work.--
He raised his wand, tracing another complex rune into the air, the uttering a single word in his native tongue, "feng." The rune flared briefly before disappearing, leaving a faint scent of jasmine in the air.
"I have come to a decision. I will call upon the soul of Michael Anthony for answers. In the event the spell fails, the man lives. Otherwise, we will have the answers that we need. What do you think?"

((The summoning circle is in the Durmstrang dungeon. By the way, shall I get you a simulacrum for a bodyguard?))

((alrighty and yes please)) --Artemis watched him thoughfully. And didn't respond for a moment after he finished speaking. Summon his soul? Could be dangerous, yet the only true way of getting what they needed. The predicament was indeed difficult.-- "I think..." she said slowly, still contemplating what she thought..."That it could be a potentially dangerous course to take." she said, walking toward her window, as she ofted did when deep in thought. --She stared out over the lands of her country. Her country. She was now responsible for it. For some reason, that thought hit her very hard at that moment. This was hers now, and it was her responsibility. As her eyes gazed out over the hills, she began to speak.-- "However, from what I see, it is the only way to get the information we need." she turned back to face him --At that moment, something that was never before seen in Artemis, could be seen. She looked, older. More mature than ever. Being 18, and having the weight of not only your country, but most of the wizarding world, on your shoulders, was difficult. It could do that to a person...-- "Correct me if I'm wrong...." she said cautiously, thinking...."But summoning the soul of the deceased is usually a Dark matter. And as I am minister, and you are my head of magical law enforcement, it would seem a bit....off, if we were to use Dark Magic. Even to solve the death of the previous minister." she sighed --Which road to take? The correct course, that requires an illegal act to reach the destination? Or the course, that follows the law, but is a dead end? It was a tough descion indeed.-- "But the matter needs to be solved. And it obvious that nothing legal can get that done. No one in this country is safe, until we know who did this." she sighed..."Which road to take? The correct course, that requires an illegal act to reach the destination? Or the course, that follows the law, but is a dead end?" her eyes again wandered to the window.... --She did not speak for a long while. Five minutes at the least. Left to her own thoughts, she decided soemthing.-- "Sometimes, an act of good, requires an act of evil, to get it done." she said. --She turned back once again, feeling his eyes on her back((srry, bit of a power play there)).-- "I beleive, that it is the correct course to take, the nessecary course to take.."

"I keep forgetting that as mature as you seem, you are truly barely out of school. And Igor Karkaroff would hardly be willing to teach the nuances of Dark Magics. Dark Magic is called such not because of their effects per se. They are considered Dark because of what repercussions they have on the casters. By willingly using spells designed to maim and murder, the caster taints his own soul. Dark Rituals are considered Dark because of the components required to empower them."

--Artemis thought for a moment. She sighed. He was right. She was barely out of school, and although she had more than enough experience in this field, it was from the other viewpoint. She sighed, and leaned back against the wall....--
"In my studies with Igor, I barely learned anything..." she said, shrugging...."Never mind the effects the magic has on its caster, not the recipient...." she looked at him..."As much as I've seen, and done, I still have a lot to learn...." she said quietly...."I'm rapidly begining to realize that.."

"And that is the beginning of knowledge. My people have a saying, that the sea of knowledge is as the ocean, and being studious is the only way to shore."

--Artemis smiled, and nodded. He always had little....proverbial sayings that went with what was happening at the time....--
"And at the moment, I floating in the middle of the sea, with no shore i sight..." she said, smiling..."But I'm working on that...."
--She looked over to her desk, and a sudden door appeared behind it. It opened, revealing a library of millions of books, on topics ranging from Dark Arts, to how to train a house elf....--
"I'm getting there...slowly..." she said, but she knew that you didn't learn a lot from books...."But I'll never learn anything without experiencing it.... That much, I have learned..."
