Anna walked into the Eatery and took a table. It has been a while since she has been in here. She loved the food here. She waited for the waitress to come before ordering a burger and fries with some pumpkin juice. She picked up the salt and pepper shaker and started playing with them. She sighed as she looked around. Once again, she found herself alone. She really did miss Eric, but she could never bring herself to talk to him after what happened. It may have been a long time ago, but the memory was still fresh in her mind.

Professor Krum walked into the Eatery, and spotted miss Galitskii. He walked over to her and asked, "Is it okay for me to sit here?"

Anna spilled some salt when she looked up to see who just asked to sit with her. She quickly cleaned it up, but she made sure she threw some salt over her right shoulder so she wouldn't get bad luck. "Uh, sure, Professor," she said as she blushed.

Krum sat down beside her, "So you're superstitious? I never would have guessed." Krum said. He looked at her plate and noticed the american food, "So do you like the food? Oh, and what happened between you and Eric?"

"Yeah, I've been here a couple times before," Anna nodded. "The food is great. Especially their American food."
She felt a bit embarrassed as the Professor brought up Eric. "Uh, well, it's kind of embarassing, really."

"Oh okay, but if you need anyone to talk to, i'm here." Krum said, attempting to stand, and falling back in his seat, " Damn, this leg,"

Anna looked up a bit concerned. "Are you alright, sir," she asked, standing up and trying to have him lean on her. "Maybe you should sit for a while, and order some food."

"Yeah, I'm fine, it's just my leg from that bludger... Sure I'd love to order, I'll have what you have." Krum said.

Anna smiled and called over the waitress and placed an order for the professor. As they waited for the food, she thought she'd start a conversation. "Professor, how was it," she asked, resting her chin on her hand. "Playing Quidditch?"

"Oh, it was amazing, the fans, the excitement, the adrinaline... It was fun but would I go back, probably not." Krum said coming back from his trance.

"That must be so amazing," anna said admiringly. "I'm sorry to pry, but why haven't a guy like you found someone yet. I mean, you're only in your twenties, but you would think now that you have more time, you would have had time to find a girlfriend and everything." Anna blushed, knowing that what she said was totally inappropriate.

"Well, I don't really know, I guess people think that now that i've quit Quidditch, that i've lost my touch...." Krum said.

"Well, I don't think that," she said sheepishly as she took a sip of her drink.

"Well, thank you, I think I just might get on a broom again," Krum said eyes lighting up, "Thank you so much for making me believe in myself, and in not calling me rusty," Krum said, taking her hand as he talked.

Anna thought she felt her heart skip a beat. She couldn't believe Viktor Krum was holding her hand. And, here she was, worrying and thinking about Eric. What was she thinking? She shouldn't even bother wasting her time with someone so not emotionally ready to have a relationship yet.
"Well, you were the best seeker in the world at one point in your career," she said, smiling. "That's never going to change. And, besides, if you could do it before, you can do it again, right?"

"That's what they say, but I don't think so." Krum said wondering where her mind was, she looked out of it.

"What happened to your leg, anyway," she asked. "I mean, I read it in the papers, but they always seem to exaggerate a thing or two."

"It was quite embarrassing really, I was out practicing, when I heard a noise in the bushes near the field I was practicing in, and when I looked toward the sound, I got hit with a bludger, on he leg, then I fell off the broom, and landed on the leg. If I only went to St. Mungo's, I would be okay, but I didn't." Krum said.

"Why didn't you," she asked. She looked down and realized they were still holding hands.

"Well because I thought I was fine, I had been hurt way worse before, an didn't think it was broken, and the thing is, I ruined my career for a gnome." Krum said to Anna, not noticing the holding of hands.

"I'm sorry to hear that," she said, frowning. "Why didn't you just become a coach then, professor?" It felt a bit weird calling him professor, but she didn't feel like she should call him anything else.

"Well, to be a good coach, you need to show the students how to do something, as well as teach them the theorys. Plus, I was young and not ready to teach and wih my egbroken I couldn't do anything. I almost didn't take the teaching position when the minister offered it to me," Krum replied, "And call me, Viktor,"

Eric walked in for some lunch, and turned to take a booth. He heard a familiar voice that made him turn around. What's Anna and Professor Krum doing here together...alone, he aseked. He got up from his seat and headed over towards their table. When he got closer, he saw they were holding hands. "What the hell is going on," he asked both of them, staring back and forth between Anna and Professor Krum.

"Excuse me Mr. Cartman, that's 25 points from your wing. You are never to be disrespectful to your professors. What do you mean? Miss Galitskii and myself are just sharing a nice lunch, and if you are making an assumption that Anna and I are together, we are not, and if we were, she is of age." Krum said outraged at Eric's tone.
